Diving In

August 13, 2007 by

It’s finally time!  Our Spanish language study officially begins this coming Wednesday (August 15th).  We are excited to dive into this adventure and we’ll keep you posted on how it goes!

Mondays will be our days to work on our culture projects.  Tuesdays through Thursdays we will attend Spanish class for three hours, and practice Spanish for the rest of the day.  The weekends will be filled with family time, time in the culture and language, and church of course.

Many people have asked us what our boys will do during this time.  The only part we cannot have them with us for is class time.  So for those 3 hours (four days a week), they are going to be babysat by our friend from church.  She is a very sweet lady, and she knows some English which will make the transition a bit easier.  Also, her son is Wesley’s first Mexican friend.  He is Wesley’s age, and Wesley is excited to be able to play with him for a little while four days a week.  Landon will be thrilled to be wherever Wesley is!  🙂
