{"id":9,"date":"2007-08-13T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2007-08-13T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2007-08-17T19:18:20","modified_gmt":"2007-08-17T23:18:20","slug":"diving-in","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/aaron-knapp\/2007\/08\/13\/diving-in\/","title":{"rendered":"Diving In"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--StartImportPhoto--><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/aaron-knapp\/files\/2007\/08\/newsAP(4882)_img.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-104\" style=\"margin-right: 10px;margin-bottom: 5px\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/aaron-knapp\/files\/2007\/08\/newsAP(4882)_img.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" \/><\/a><!--EndImportPhoto--><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s finally time!&nbsp; Our Spanish language study officially begins this coming Wednesday (August 15th).&nbsp; We are excited to dive into this adventure and we&#8217;ll keep you posted on how it goes!&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mondays will be our days to work on our culture projects.&nbsp; Tuesdays through Thursdays we will attend Spanish class for three hours, and&nbsp;practice&nbsp;Spanish for the rest of the day.&nbsp; The weekends will be filled with family time, time in the culture and language, and church of course.<\/p>\n<p>Many people have asked us what our boys will do during this time.&nbsp; The only part&nbsp;we cannot have them with us&nbsp;for is class time.&nbsp; So for those 3 hours (four days a week), they are going to be babysat by our friend from church.&nbsp; She is a very sweet lady, and she knows&nbsp;some&nbsp;English which will make the transition a bit easier.&nbsp; Also, her son is Wesley&#8217;s first Mexican friend.&nbsp; He is Wesley&#8217;s age, and Wesley is excited to be able to play with him for a little while four days a week.&nbsp; Landon will be thrilled to be wherever Wesley is!&nbsp; \ud83d\ude42&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s finally time!
