After\u00a0years spent learning the language and the culture of the Patpatar people.\u00a0 They are now endeavoring to accomplish their goals which include:<span class=\"redText\"><em> establishing a church, discipling believers, creating resources,\u00a0writing literacy programs, teaching the Bible, and translating Old Testament portions<\/em><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">The Patpatar church, though under persecution for standing for the truth, is growing slowly. \u00a0Aaron is continuing to work with faithful men who are being equipped to study God&#8217;s Word in order\u00a0to teach it to others. \u00a0Lori is continuing to help lead the literacy classes and is training\u00a0men and woman who can teach the program to others in the community who are not\u00a0yet able to read and write. \u00a0Madonna, with the help of both Aaron and Lori, is continuing to translate Old Testament portions into the Patpatar language.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Aaron and Lori Luse, along with Madonna Yates, are working among the Patpatar people in Papua New Guinea.
