{"id":226,"date":"2010-08-13T06:11:50","date_gmt":"2010-08-12T20:11:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/aaron-luse\/?p=226"},"modified":"2011-02-19T06:19:22","modified_gmt":"2011-02-18T20:19:22","slug":"all-better","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/aaron-luse\/2010\/08\/13\/all-better\/","title":{"rendered":"All Better"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left\"><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-207\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/aaron-luse\/files\/2011\/02\/IMG_2891-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_2891\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/aaron-luse\/files\/2011\/02\/IMG_2891-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/aaron-luse\/files\/2011\/02\/IMG_2891-682x1024.jpg 682w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><em>Blais<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want the Christians in America to know how I came to understand the Gospel so more of them will be missionaries and I want my family to know my testimony so that they will also believe that Jesus died to pay for their sins so that they can be in His family like I am,\u201d was the response that Blais gave me.\u00a0 I had my recorder with me and had been asking him questions about his life and his testimony, and had asked him what he wished could be accomplished through telling his story.<\/p>\n<p>That was just over a month ago when he could still talk well and get around.\u00a0 Since that time the cancer growth (we think it was cancer) on his neck began to grow at a rapid rate <!--more-->and started affecting his speech, breathing, and ability to get around.\u00a0 Three weeks ago he made his way to the believers\u2019 meeting.\u00a0 You wouldn\u2019t have known that day that he was a man dying with little energy.\u00a0 He couldn\u2019t stand still as he lifted his hands and sang praises to God for what Jesus had done for him.<\/p>\n<p>That was his last big outing.\u00a0 From that time on eating became difficult and his voice disappeared.\u00a0 His body became frail, \u00a0but every time I went to see him, despite the pain, the joy in his life seeped through his smile.
