Aaron, Lori, Avalon, Sierra, and Kylee captured by pixels.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n We were aware of cell phones before our arrival in the States before Christmas, but they had changed.\u00a0 I watched in awe as 8 finger typing was replaced by miniature scaled 2 thumbed typing.\u00a0 Telegram length messages in abbreviated codes jumped from screen to screen on mobile phones that were no longer the size of bricks.\u00a0 Then there were those touch screen phones.\u00a0 Simply by tapping or swiping or pinching; calls were being placed, internet sites were being accessed, videos were being watched, and music was playing.\u00a0 Technology had changed.<\/p>\n We have spent the last two months trying to figure out how everything works in the “modern world.”\u00a0 We have finally gotten our website mostly updated.\u00a0 You can see all our latest updates, pictures, contact information and more.\u00a0 You can see it at www.ntm.org\/aaron_luse<\/a>.<\/p>\n During our time here, we have also been able to speak in 5 of our supporting churches.\u00a0 It was great to be able to see many of our friends and supporters and give an update of what God is doing in the Patpatar.\u00a0 Last Sunday the message was recorded and you can either watch it or listen to it at www.sunnybrookchurch.org<\/a> then click \u201cwatch live\u201d to see it or \u201clisten\u201d for the audio only.<\/p>\n We were unable to make any videos this time back, however there is a new video called Awayo<\/em> made by New Tribes Mission about a tribe even more remote from the Patpatar in Papua.\u00a0 Some missionaries that Lori and I went through the training with have been used by God to do an incredible work there.\u00a0 To see the video go to www.ntm.org\/video<\/a>.<\/p>\n We have less than a week left in our technology driven world.\u00a0 We will send another update soon about some exciting news of the Patpatar and our co-workers.<\/p>\n Text u L8r,<\/p>\n Aaron<\/p>\n Fact \u2013 In Papua New Guinea technology is advancing as well, but at a slower pace.\u00a0 Over 80% of the music industry sales in the country is through cassette tapes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Aaron, Lori, Avalon, Sierra, and Kylee captured by pixels.
