Ma pai tiga linge mah be iau ni gil ie.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jisas at ga gil bakut ie<\/span><\/p>\n

Ing ga maat u tagu<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the Patpatar believers timidly strummed the guitar and sang the song above that he had written.\u00a0 When he finished he told me that he didn\u2019t know if it was good or not, but wanted to try to express what he believes in praise to God.\u00a0 About a week before I had suggested to the group of believers that they should begin writing songs of praise to God that we could sing as a group.\u00a0 His was the first.\u00a0 This is what it means:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Thank you so much God for your mercy.<\/span><\/p>\n

You sent Jesus to die for me<\/span><\/p>\n

And to pay for all of my sins.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is not because of my works.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is not because of my goodness.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is nothing that I have done.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is nothing that we have done.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus, Himself has done it all<\/span><\/p>\n

When He died for me<\/span><\/p>\n

And when He rose again.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We now have over a dozen songs that the Patpatar church sings to praise God for who He is and what He has done.\u00a0 One of the most recent songs was added by a believer who walks further than almost anybody else to attend the teaching.\u00a0 The amazing thing is, he is nearly blind.\u00a0 Here is a translation of the song he wrote:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I will praise my Savior because he has bought me back.<\/span><\/p>\n

I was fenced in by death in the midst of darkness.<\/span><\/p>\n

But now I see clearly the grace and mercy of the Savior.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thank you so much for your great blessing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Isaiah\u00a0 42:12 says, \u201cLet them give glory to the Lord and proclaim his praise in the islands.\u201d\u00a0 It has been a privilege to be a part of the \u2018choir\u2019 here in the islands of Papua New Guinea.\u00a0 Thank you for your prayers and contributions that make this all possible, and thank you God for YOUR great work You\u2019ve done here in the Paptatar people!<\/span><\/p>\n
