Aaron is well on his way to completing his Masters of Business Administration. God had been working on him for several years, so it was a relief to finally get it started. The MBA will really help him in the business office in Papua New Guinea. Management, Marketing, and Accounting are out of the way. Next up, Statistics!
Family
Stacy continues to homeschool Kiera and Kaili. We are looking to put them back into the mission school (http://www.ncapng.org/) in Papua New Guinea when we return in August. Kiera will be starting 8th grade, Kaili high school, and Kobe 11th grade. Kobe played soccer, and Kobe and Kaili are playing basketball and are really enjoying it. They have also loved spending time with family and especially cousins close by. Stacy’s grandmother had been living with Stacy’s parents, but passed away in December at the age of 92. It was great to be able to spend time with her for the last several months. We had a good Christmas visit in Michigan in December, and Aaron’s sister Debbie was able to visit with us all twice! Please continue praying for Debbie and her family in their journey with cancer.
Mayo results
As we’ve posted on Facebook, Aaron has traveled all the way out to Minnesota to go to the Mayo clinic for help with his headache that he’s had since March. Thousands of miles (and dollars) later, they said he has a headache… However, with some of the sinus treatments that they recommended, Aaron is feeling somewhat better and is finally able to re-start his daily exercise routine. The problem all along may just have been due to sinus inflammation and will need to be treated daily in order to get relief.
Traveling this summer
We hope to come see you this summer! Once school is out in May, we hope to visit our supporting churches and many of you! We’re hoping to get down to Florida, out to Missouri, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin and many in-between. We’ll start planning for this trip soon, so if you have a preference for a visit, let us know soon.
