There are believers in Maliyali!<\/h1>\n

Rachel Mueller writes:<\/p>\n

“The urgency that we have felt for the past 10 years is gone\u2014our Maliyali people have clearly heard and understand the Gospel message in their own heart language!\u00a0Whew. That is such a good feeling! Thank you, Jesus!<\/p>\n

However, the Maliyali believers know nothing PAST the Gospel message. They haven\u2019t heard anything from Acts or the Epistles yet\u2026so our believers don\u2019t know yet that they are the Body of Christ\u2014His Church. That will all come in time! They don\u2019t know how to live now in light of being saved. However, we won\u2019t just TELL them any of that stuff\u2014we will show them clearly from God\u2019s Word in their own language. Which means it all has to be translated and lessons have to be prepared. It\u2019s a mountain of work!<\/p>\n

We have SO MANY believers now. We hope to share some of their testimonies with you soon, but for now, we start the long slow process of teaching and discipling them. We are so grateful to all of you for praying for us especially these past few months! We ask that you please continue to pray! It’s Totaled…<\/h1>\n

Those are not words you ever want to hear.\u00a0 Some of you may know that a few months ago, Kobe’s friend totaled his car (our car) while Kobe was out of state.\u00a0 Now, Kobe’s been borrowing friends’ cars to get to work.\u00a0 Does anyone have an old car they want to get rid of?\u00a0 We’ll need one for Kobe now, and at least one or two more come June!<\/p>\n

Kobe is working hard to put himself through Bible school. Please pray for him to finish the year well. Pray for him over the holidays, as he will be on his own.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

Our Ministries<\/h1>\n

Aaron went on yet another business trip to the capital city to work out land and tax issues, among other things.\u00a0 He’s got five months to hand everything off to… somebody.\u00a0 Pray for a replacement for the Business Manager as three possible replacements have fallen through.<\/p>\n

Stacy is involved in pretty much everything.\u00a0 She’s on the care team and helped host the Skate Night (above), the Pop Up\u00a0Shops (Christmas booths at people’s houses), the coffee shop ministry for our teens, New Year’s Eve party for our missionaries, discipleship groups for our teens, teaching classes at the school, and is involved in both the senior and junior classes.\u00a0 Whew!<\/p>\n

Thank you for praying for us and supporting us financially so that we can bring the light of the gospel to Papua New Guinea!<\/p>\n
