“Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving” Col. 4:2.
The first 25 to 30 couples who finish the 4 semesters of studies will be graduating in November. We plan to gather in a tribal community for this event. These brothers and sisters are praying to seek direction for how they can serve in their local churches according to their gifts. Please pray that God will give them wisdom.
During that time, we also plan to continue teaching and discipling the tutors on the subject of “Giving generously” encouraging the churches in their responsibility to support their pastors and missionaries.
The Guahibo live in very extensive territories, separated by long distances. Long journeys by river or by car or motorcycle on roads are required to reach these locations. In October, two tutors plan to visit one of these areas where several tribal villages are located.
They will encourage the Bible study students in their homes and teach a workshop on animism (is the belief that objects, places, and creatures all possess a distinct spiritual essence). Thanks for praying for that
time.
