About 21 hours after leaving Seattle I arrived safely in Asia Pacific. Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts for adjustments to a new country! So far I have been enjoying the new sights and sounds…especially the fruit! I leave Monday for the final leg of my journey to begin Language & Culture Studies.
Working at Archer Group has been a neat opportunity for me these past six months. They sent me off with a memorable party complete with chocolate chip cookies and books to read on the long journey to Asia Pacific. I am looking forward to seeing at least some of them when they visit October! They […]

Praise for tickets and visas for flying to Asia Pacific January 10th!
We just had our first snow here in Whatcom County! I am trying to appreciate the freezing cold and opportunity for snowball fights as I don’t expect to be seeing snow in Asia Pacific! 🙂
What could be better than Thanksgiving Turkey? I learned this year that it was seeing the Lord provide wheels when my van became undriveable. I was frustrated at loosing my “reliable” transportation so close to my departure for overseas. But it was so amazing to have my friends the Starkenburgs sacrifice by allowing me to use their vehicle! […]
