We want to train believers in the Instituto Misionero Nuevos Horizontes in Colombia. The Training Center has a two-part program. First, they are two years of Bible training that equips Spanish-speaking students with a solid biblical foundation. The second two years are specialized missionary training.
Students are instructed in proven methods to teach Chronological Bible Teaching effectively. This Chronological Bible Teaching takes the listener from Creation to Christ and then to the early church and New Testament Letter. All this is about how to reach people across cultural and linguistic boundaries.
Our Goal?
Our primary goal is to establish mature churches in cross-cultural contexts. To make this possible, we have decided to train Spanish-speaking believers in Colombia to reach those tribal communities in their own country. We do not want only evangelistic work in the tribes by short-term missionary trips; we want mature established churches among the tribal communities of Colombia with a solid basis in the Gospel.
