Angela & I met in college.\u00a0 After college we married and moved to Wichita Kansas.\u00a0 We lived and worked there for 5 years before entering the training with New Tribes Mission (NTM).<\/p>\n
Having grown up in Brazil, it’s like coming home for me.\u00a0 However, this is all NEW to Angela & our children.\u00a0 Thankfully NTM (and the Lord!)\u00a0helped us prepare for all the changes.\u00a0 Now here we are in Brazil!<\/p>\n
Currently we are serving at the boarding school for missionary kids (MKs)….and we are EXCITED<\/span><\/em><\/strong> to be here!!!!<\/p>\n This semester we are working in a number of different ministries…Angela is working in the ‘business office.’\u00a0 She’s also\u00a0being mom & wife, getting to know & encourage students, does some subbing,\u00a0supply buyer (with me)\u00a0and various other things.<\/p>\n I (Joel) am teaching Bible classes to Jr. High\u00a0& High School students, teaching a Bible class and Portuguese class to 3rd & 4th graders, helping out in the maint. dept., life guard duty, being dad & husband, preparing the NEW Bible curriculum for upcoming classes, supply buyer (with Angela), serving on the leadership team \u00a0and perhaps a few other things as well. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n Life on the Amazon is busy!!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Angela & I met in college.\u00a0 After college we married and moved to Wichita Kansas.\u00a0 We lived and worked there for 5 years before entering the training with New Tribes Mission (NTM).
