we are now &#8220;In Full Swing.&#8221;\u00a0 Things are going well&#8230;Joel really enjoys the days he gets to do science experiments with the 3rd &amp; 4th graders.\u00a0 I have to admit, since he often brings the kids to our house to do the experiments, it has\u00a0become a family &amp; class thing. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Right now it&#8217;s rainy season, so it&#8217;s been nice and &#8216;cool&#8217; (80&#8217;s).\u00a0 However, this weekend Joel &amp; I are accompanying the 6th-8th graders on a camping trip.\u00a0 I am praying that the rain will hold off those days&#8230;and the sun will even warm us up a bit&#8230;.but don&#8217;t tell.\u00a0 Most others here don&#8217;t feel the same way.\u00a0 Ha!<\/p>\n<p>This past weekend the school had V-day parties for the students.\u00a0 The H.S. students were in charge of doing the party for the Elem. students.\u00a0 They did a &#8216;carnival.&#8217;\u00a0 It was lots of fun.\u00a0 I almost beat Joel in arm wrestling!<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_263\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-263\" style=\"width: 320px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-263\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/joel-ketcham\/files\/2011\/02\/DSCF38201.JPG\" alt=\"V-day Party 2011...Arm Wrestling\" width=\"320\" height=\"240\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/angela-ketcham\/files\/2011\/02\/DSCF38201.JPG 320w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/angela-ketcham\/files\/2011\/02\/DSCF38201-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-263\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">V-day Party 2011...Arm Wrestling<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Not!\u00a0 But I did have fun trying.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Joel &amp; I were actually in charge of the H.S. party.\u00a0 We had them do a digital picture scavenger hunt&#8230;where they have to go take pictures of certain things.\u00a0 We also played a couple of other games &amp; of course had some YUMMY snacks.\u00a0 Again, it was a lot of fun&#8230;and we were glad to get the chance to interact with the students in this fun manner.<\/p>\n<p>A HUGE PRAISE we have is that Joel has been going on Outreach the last couple of Sundays.\u00a0 We are really excited about him getting involved with sharing the gospel with the local Brazilians along the river.\u00a0 We hope to eventually make this a family event.<\/p>\n<p>Okay, I guess that&#8217;s it for now.\u00a0 Thanks for keeping up with us&#8230;we covet your prayers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>School has started &amp;
