On our way to Outreach.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Recently our family went on Outreach together.\u00a0 It was good experience too.\u00a0 We were able to take our children to a small community where 11 families live.\u00a0<\/p>\n

When we first arrived, Summer started to cry because she has a hard time being around a lot of people who do not speak English.\u00a0 And Josiah was acting shy as well.\u00a0 Thankfully this community has two WONDERFUL things…lots of kids & lots of animals!\u00a0 It wasn’t long till Ethan & Josiah were off playing soccer with the boys & Summer was off chasing the sheep.\u00a0 Sheep weren’t the only animals either…there were pigs, dogs, chickens, turkeys, ducks and cats too.\u00a0<\/p>\n

After the playing, everyone went to an outdoor pavilion to hear the lesson.\u00a0 Joel is using “The Lamb Book” with this particular group.\u00a0 Even the adults enjoy listening, \u00a0looking at the pictures and answering the questions at the end of the chapters.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Often times our hearts just break with the living conditions people have…this community is the same.\u00a0 Summer asked why the people are so poor…how to explain such things to our children.\u00a0 It’s hard.\u00a0 The one thing we can explain with certainty<\/strong> is that we can give them the BEST RICHES<\/span><\/em><\/strong> there is to offer…Christ<\/span><\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 We can’t change where they live, but God can change the way<\/em> they live!\u00a0 Needless to say, it was pretty exciting to hear our kids say they didn’t want to leave so soon (we had been there a couple of hours).\u00a0 And to hear the people ask if we have any extra “Lamb Books” for them to read on their own.<\/p>\n

Prayer Request:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Pray that we can find & purchase more “Lamb Books”<\/p>\n

Pray that the people will understand & accept the gift of Salvation.<\/p>\n

Pray that we can pass on our love for Christ,\u00a0and our desire to share Him with others,\u00a0to our children.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
