So it’s Christmas break.\u00a0 This of course means that the students who do not have parents here, have gone home to be with their families.\u00a0 Although we miss them, we also realize that this time is a good time to rest & get refreshed…as staff and\u00a0as families.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Something our children have been wanting to do is go camping.\u00a0 Actually the boys have gone a couple of times, but there has not been any girl camping trips, nor have we all gone as a family.\u00a0 So that is what we did…we went on a camping trip.<\/p>\n

We hiked for 45 min’s to get to our camping site.\u00a0 Thankfully we had a trail to follow in the jungle.\u00a0 This is us leaving PQQ.<\/p>\n

The kids & I slept in the tent & Joel slept in the hammock (under that blue tarp hanging up).<\/p>\n

Josiah loves to help with the fire.\u00a0 Thankfully the fire got going before the rain arrived. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Yum!\u00a0 Hot Cocoa to keep us warm during the rain.<\/p>\n

And here was our highlight…catching a Stingray.\u00a0 That’s right.\u00a0 Joel & the kids caught this right where the kids had been swimming all day.\u00a0 Once again we are reminded that we are being watched over even we don’t realize it.<\/p>\n
