{"id":755,"date":"2013-02-11T10:44:13","date_gmt":"2013-02-11T14:44:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/joel-ketcham\/?p=755"},"modified":"2013-02-11T10:44:14","modified_gmt":"2013-02-11T14:44:14","slug":"home-assignment-support-raising","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/angela-ketcham\/2013\/02\/11\/home-assignment-support-raising\/","title":{"rendered":"Home assignment &#038; support raising"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Every missionary needs time to go back to their home country to spend time with family, friends, their church(es) and supporters.\u00a0 It\u2019s also a time of rest, refreshment and raising more support (if needed).\u00a0 And this is exactly what we will be doing the summer of 2013.\u00a0 If you stay in touch with us via Facebook\u00a0 (or read a previous post here) you probably already know this.\u00a0 However, we wanted to make sure everyone got the update. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Support raising is NOT fun for most missionaries.\u00a0 I mean, we LOVE sharing about our ministry.\u00a0 And we LOVE sharing what the Lord is doing.\u00a0 But seriously, who wants to ask others for money?\u00a0 It\u2019s humbling.\u00a0 It\u2019s hard.\u00a0 And sometimes it just plain makes us nervous &amp; scared.\u00a0 BUT. But this is what God has called us to do.\u00a0 We CAN NOT do it alone.\u00a0 We NEED\u00a0 the body of Christ to minister WITH us.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Most, if not all of you, who read this is already supporting this ministry.\u00a0 So we are not asking you for more support (Unless of course you feel the Lord is directing you to do that.\u00a0 Then by all means, feel free!).\u00a0 However, what we are asking you is this\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Do you know people, or other churches, that would be interested in joining this ministry?\u00a0 Can you hook us up?\u00a0 We would love to meet with them &amp; share what the Lord is doing in Brazil.\u00a0 And in order for us to use our time wisely, we would really like to plan ahead.
