Sometimes I let this question get the best of me.\u00a0 “What if”….<\/p>\n

my kids get sick & need medical attention?<\/p>\n

the river floods our house?<\/p>\n

our support level drops below what we need to live?<\/p>\n

I can’t fit back into my clothes after home assignment? (This could be a real<\/em> problem…I am SO TOTALLY EXCITED<\/em> about the foods I have been missing!\u00a0 Which means I might<\/del> am going to get fatter.)<\/p>\n

LOVE this place!<\/figcaption><\/figure>I\/we don’t fit in with our friends in the States anymore?<\/p>\n

we don’t have enough staff for PQQ next year?<\/p>\n

my kids don’t like being MKs (missionary kids)?<\/p>\n

my MKs are weird<\/em>?<\/p>\n

None of these MKs are actually my children...but they are students at our school. And they looked pretty weird for "Wacky Day." \ud83d\ude42<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I don’t get to eat twizzlers for 4 YEARS? (No twizzlers here.)<\/p>\n

my kids are not ‘with it’ on using technology (tablets, smartphones, laptops, etc.)? (Ummm, this is true.)<\/p>\n

I’m not ‘with it’ on using technology either? (Stink, this is true too!)<\/p>\n

we seriously STINK<\/em> when we get back? (Everything has a musty\/moldy smell here.)<\/p>\n

a cockroach hides\/dies in our luggage? (I would be SO<\/strong> EMBARASSED<\/strong>!<\/em>)<\/p>\n

So gross!<\/figcaption><\/figure>Okay, you get the idea.\u00a0 There are just so many ‘what ifs’.\u00a0 I really<\/em> could go on.\u00a0 And in life, we often have plans laid out for some of the ‘what ifs’…wills, insurance, etc.\u00a0 But the truth is, we can only do so much.\u00a0 Then we just have to TRUST<\/strong> the Lord to guide us & be with us if<\/del>\u00a0when<\/em>the ‘what ifs’ come our way.\u00a0 He doesn’t say things will be easy, but He does say that He will\u00a0be with us!<\/p>\n

Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”<\/strong><\/p>\n
