Amazon 'snow'<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;\u00a0 in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight.”\u00a0 Proverbs 3:5-6<\/strong><\/p>\n

First let me say, our time of home assignment in the States was wonderful<\/em>.\u00a0 We got to reconnect with family, many of our friends and a number of our partners.\u00a0 Thank you to everyone who made our time there feel welcoming and refreshing.<\/p>\n

Even though we were returning “home,” in some ways it did not feel that way at all.\u00a0 Things had changed.\u00a0 People and relationships had changed.\u00a0 We’ve changed.\u00a0 We are praying that our stretching and growing will not only move us closer to the Lord, but help us do a better job in the ministry here.<\/p>\n

Since returning to the school, I’ve been reading Proverbs.\u00a0 My prayer is that we (as a couple, as a family and as a staff here at PQQ) will continue to\u00a0seek wisdom from the Lord. And not only that.\u00a0 That whatever the Lord has in our futures, that we will trust that He has us on the path that He has for us.<\/p>\n

So if that means ministering here for the next 3 years, the next 8 years, or leaving next week; we will trust in Him.\u00a0 If we are healthy or sick; we will trust Him.\u00a0 If we get to see real<\/em> snow or just Amazon ‘snow;’ we will trust Him.\u00a0 If we have lots of money or no money; we will trust Him.\u00a0 And no matter the path we are on, may we always give glory & honor to Him!<\/p>\n

One of the kids (I can’t remember which one.) had really hoped to see snow while we were in the States.\u00a0 Of course that wasn’t an option since we were only there for the summer months.\u00a0 But just last week a tall tree called a Kapock (sp?) tree, started dropping this stuff.\u00a0 It’s white.\u00a0 It’s fluffy.\u00a0 And it’s all over the soccer field.\u00a0 I wish I had a photo when it was in the air.\u00a0 So cool!\u00a0 Anyway, I told the kids this was the Amazon version of snow.\u00a0\ud83d\ude42 \u00a0And I think it does kind of look like it.\u00a0 How amazing is our God!?!\u00a0 He really did make an incredible world!\u00a0 And we are so blessed to get to experience and see two very different parts of it.<\/p>\n

Outreaches- open hearts in the communities where our staff & students are sharing the Gospel<\/p>\n
