Have you seen the movie Divergent?\u00a0 A recurring theme in the movie is ‘be brave.’\u00a0 Which got me to thinking.\u00a0 I am SO NOT<\/em> brave.\u00a0 Often times people say things like, “I could never be a missionary.”\u00a0 “I could never do what you do.”\u00a0 “I don’t know how you live there.”\u00a0 And so on.\u00a0 And I almost always want to say, “Me either!”\u00a0 “I can’t do it either!”\u00a0 “Sometimes I have a hard time living there.”\u00a0<\/em> And so on.<\/p>\n

Here’s the deal.\u00a0 As much as I LOVE\u00a0living at PQQ & being a part of the ministry here, it’s not always easy.\u00a0 I don’t always want to be here (Same as everyone everywhere, right?\u00a0 We all have times when we wish we were someplace else doing something different.).\u00a0 But God gives me strength, peace & joy to carry me through….on the good days & especially on the hard days.<\/p>\n

Some days it feels like Satan is attacking me\/us, but I know I stand firm without flinching not<\/em> because I am brave, but because I know who has ALL<\/em> <\/strong>things under control.\u00a0 He is my shield.\u00a0 Psalms 3:3 “But you are a shield around me, O Lord;…”\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"imagesIETCS2IC\"<\/a>So be brave today, my friends.\u00a0 Not because you can do it on your own.\u00a0 Do it because you know Christ is your shield, your strong tower, your comforter, your everything.\u00a0 With Him, we can face whatever comes.\u00a0 Be brave.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
