“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and\u00a0the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us<\/em><\/strong>.”\u00a0 (Hebrews 12:1; emphasis mine)<\/p>\n

As Christians, all of us have some of the same ‘race marked out for us’….seek to be more like Christ, love others, share the Gospel with others, and so on.\u00a0 However, parts of our ‘race’ is different.\u00a0 For us, a part of our ‘race’ is living & working at PQQ.\u00a0 Our school is fronted by the Amazon river & surrounded on the other three sides by jungle.\u00a0 Most days we never leave our jungle home\/school.\u00a0 Our ‘race’ right now, for the most part, is developing followers of Christ.\u00a0 We spend our days teaching classes, playing\/coaching sports (well, NOT Angela! \ud83d\ude09\u00a0 ), having Bible studies and living life with the students of our school.\u00a0 For roughly 9 months of the year, these kids are under our (the school’s) care.\u00a0 This ministry is a 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week ministry.\u00a0\u00a0What this school is doing matters<\/em>.\u00a0 Did you know that\u00a0PQQ\u00a0has a big return rate of missionary kids who come back into missions when they are adults?\u00a0 There are numerous PEOPLE GROUPS<\/strong> who are well on their way to having the Word of God<\/strong> <\/em>in their own<\/em> <\/strong>languages because missionary kids are now missionary adults.\u00a0 What a blessing for us to be a part of it!\u00a0 And to you, our partners, what a blessing for you to be a part as well!\u00a0 In a recent e-mail from some parents it was said, “Thank you for all you guys do out at PQQ.\u00a0 We would have had to leave our ministry\/tribe\u00a0if it were not for being able to send our child.” (I’m paraphrasing since it was in Portuguese.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude09\u00a0 )\u00a0 It’s for parents like these, for WHOLE PEOPLE GROUPS<\/em> <\/strong>like these, that PQQ exsists.\u00a0\u00a0One day those parents are going to have the Bible translated in that language.\u00a0 One day those people are going to hear about\u00a0Christ!\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0What a\u00a0BLESSING, A HUGE BLESSING to be even a small part of that!<\/p>\n

Living life with the students= sometimes serious, sometimes FUN!!!!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
