Here’s a bit of what my day is like.\u00a0 It’s not all the details, but you’ll get the idea! \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
6:00 a.m. Parents wake up.<\/p>\n
6:15-6:30 a.m. Kids wake up (they are not always ready to do so!).<\/p>\n
6:30-6:50 a.m. Get ready for the day; kids start on chores.<\/p>\n 6:50 a.m. Breakfast in the refei (school dining hall).<\/p>\n 7:15-7:40 a.m. Supervise kids finishing getting ready for school & doing morning chores.<\/p>\n 7:45 a.m. Kids are off to school!\u00a0 I do some ‘office work’ for the school, make our morning snack and do some chores around the house.<\/p>\n 10:15-10:30 a.m. Kids home for snack.<\/p>\n 10:30 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.\u00a0 Work, work, work!<\/p>\n 12:00 p.m. Lunch in the refei.<\/p>\n 12:40 p.m. Dorm laundry (this is done twice a week for my dorm.\u00a0 Once on Sunday and once on Wednesday.)<\/p>\n 3:30 p.m. Kids come home from school & it’s snack time again.<\/p>\n 3:45-6:00 p.m. This is either sports time (v-ball, soccer, basketball, ect. depending on the semester), free time and\/or swim time depending on the day.\u00a0 I like to go to the girls’ v-ball practice twice a week.\u00a0 It’s a fun way to interact with the girls & helps keep me (a little) active.<\/p>\n 6:00 p.m.\u00a0 Clean up for dinner!<\/p>\n 6:15 p.m.\u00a0 Dinner in the refei.<\/p>\n 7:00 p.m. Study hall\/homework time (some kids go to study hall & some study at home).<\/p>\n 8:00-9:00 p.m. Our three youngest go to bed at various time during this hour.\u00a0 I’m usually tucking someone in, helping others finish up homework, or other random things.\u00a0 Some nights of the week are a bit different…for example, Tues. nights at 8:30 p.m. the 9th & 10th grade classes come over to have ‘class meeting’.\u00a0 We eat a snack, chat about any events coming up & just have a good time visiting in general.<\/p>\n 9:00 p.m. A few of the nights we have dorm devos or worship time.\u00a0 (No, not every night, but they do have devos every morn before school, have their own personal devos & have Bible class with Joel every week day as well as church on Sunday!)<\/p>\n Of course there is random times at night when the boys decide they need a night-time snack of Korean noodles (we have a number of Korean students this year).<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
