Our time in Menya for bush orientation finished last week and we had to say goodbye to our new friends in the Menya church and to our fellow missionaries, the Chappells. It was such a privilege to spend some time with the church as they were hearing Romans 6 and 7 taught for the first time. What good news it is to know that we too died with Christ to sin and we too were resurrected with Christ into newness of life; a life that is under grace not law! Pray for this young church to grow into the fullness of Christ and for the Chappells as they translate, teach, and disciple.
Today we start the first leg of our journey back to Texas. This last week has been lots of packing and preparation for the flight home. We got a good report from the doctor and the all clear to fly! There is a lot you can be praying for with our travel.
– That we won’t test positive for COVID
– That the logistics of all the paperwork, flights, and luggage will go smoothly
– For Kara Linn to persevere through many hours on a plane while 32 weeks pregnant
Thanks to everyone who has been praying for us and especially for Kara Linn’s health. We look forward to being home and hopefully getting to fill you in on a lot more details. We couldn’t be here without your faithful prayers and support so thank you all.
Grace and Peace,
Anthony and Kara Linn Haskins
