Thank you for praying for our departure plans. Since our last email we were able to get all our government paperwork, exemptions, and purchased plane tickets. The logistics of this has been challenging as we’ve had unexplained delays, constant changing of the rules, and concerns over whether we were going to be able to have to correct paperwork. All that remains is getting negative COVID tests after our trip so we don’t have to quarantine on arrival. Please pray for negative tests and that our paperwork will be approved at each leg of our trip.
On Monday we embark upon a 50 hour journey over four legs and four countries. Judson has been sick the last couple weeks which has meant less sleep for us all. Thankfully he’s been on the mend so please pray for us all to be well and rested before we leave.
When we get back to Papua New Guinea we will begin transitioning to our new role at the boarding school. If you missed our last email that describes our change in ministry you can read it here. Anthony will teach the 11th grade Bible class for the remainder of the semester and will take on more classes next school year. We will also resume language and culture study and aim to finish that by this summer.
