We are on a long journey to one day see a mature church planted and the bible translated for a people who never had it before. Along that journey, from time to time we reach a milestone signifying an important phase of the journey has passed and a new one begins. This fall marks several milestones. It’s hard to believe that it’s been nearly three months since our baby was born and we became parents. Hosanna has been an indescribable joy and quite the milestone in our lives.
November has brought another milestone in that we have finally become members of Ethnos360! It has been seven years since we first started training at their Bible Institute in Wisconsin, and it is great to officially be a part of this organization and looking to the next part of our journey. In about a month, Anthony will finish the Linguistics course that he has been taking since April, and we will be officially done with training!
At the end of December, we are planning to move to Texas for the next phase of this journey, where our focus will be to raise the financial and spiritual support we need, and all of the practical preparations to move our family to Papua New Guinea. This normally takes between one and two years. We are looking for an affordable place to stay during this time. If you know of such a place for a family of three that is in or around Fort Worth, we would be very appreciative!
Prayer/Praise:
- Praise for the blessing of children and the precious one God has given us.
- Praise that we have finally become members of Ethnos360 and are finishing up our training.
- Pray that we would finish well here in Missouri and transition well to Texas
- Pray that we would find a good place to live in Texas
Grace and Peace,
Anthony and Kara Linn Haskins
