{"id":131,"date":"2011-06-14T19:37:43","date_gmt":"2011-06-14T23:37:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/barb-kuecken\/?p=131"},"modified":"2011-07-24T13:12:50","modified_gmt":"2011-07-24T17:12:50","slug":"jesus-will-meet-you-there","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/barb-kuecken\/2011\/06\/14\/jesus-will-meet-you-there\/","title":{"rendered":"Jesus Will Meet You There"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Powerful words,\u00a0 \u201cJesus will meet you there\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>How many times have we faced trials, when the unbelievable happens, and we find ourselves reaching out to the Savior, because there is no one else to help?\u00a0<a rel=\"attachment wp-att-136\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/barb-kuecken\/2011\/06\/14\/jesus-will-meet-you-there\/3laakiri1\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-136\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/barb-kuecken\/files\/2011\/06\/3Laakiri1-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"tribal village PNG\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The boss calls a meeting with news that the plant is closing, or the doctor tells you the awful results of the tests.\u00a0 \u201cJesus will meet you there.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The missionaries living in a very remote village suddenly find their\u00a04 year old son is desperately ill and must get to a hospital.\u00a0 But the helicopter is not available.\u00a0 &#8220;Jesus will meet you there.&#8221;<a rel=\"attachment wp-att-158\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/barb-kuecken\/2011\/06\/14\/jesus-will-meet-you-there\/the-longranger-arrives-in-hoskins\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-158\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/barb-kuecken\/files\/2011\/06\/The-Longranger-arrives-in-Hoskins-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"The Longranger arrives\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>You are planning a trip, departure is imminent, but the\u00a0passport\u00a0office\u00a0has not returned your travel documents.\u00a0 Only a miracle will allow you to join your group.\u00a0 &#8220;Jesus will meet you there.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Composer and Christian musician, Steven Curtis Chapman faced one of those unbelievable tragedies with the death of his daughter, and from that came this most beautiful reminder of the constant presence of our Savior.\u00a0 \u201cHe will meet you there, \u2018cause He\u2019s already been where you\u2019re going.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Recently we were privileged to sing this beautiful song in the church choir.\u00a0 But I had\u00a0no idea how poignant the song\u00a0would become to me.\u00a0 Two days later, as the song continued to play out in my head, the last verse became reality.\u00a0 \u201cWhen the phone rings in the middle of the night with tragic news, whatever valley you must walk through, Jesus will meet you there.\u201d\u00a0<a rel=\"attachment wp-att-135\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/barb-kuecken\/2011\/06\/14\/jesus-will-meet-you-there\/2mageni-falls-near-ora\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-135\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/barb-kuecken\/files\/2011\/06\/2Mageni-Falls-near-Ora-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Water Falls PNG\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The call came as I was already in bed,\u00a0saying, \u201cDaddy has fallen\u201d and I had better come home.\u00a0 But throughout all the arrangements, the journey and the time in the hospital, Jesus was there with His everlasting arms.\u00a0 Every step I took in that valley, He was there.<\/p>\n<p>I know that the Lord has met my needs, and I trust Him to meet the needs of my mother and\u00a0my family\u00a0as\u00a0they travel down that road as well.\u00a0 I know that there will be times when the grief is hard to carry but I know that He will meet us there.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We had a wonderful celebration of Daddy\u2019s life at the church, remembering the joy, the laughter, the special times.\u00a0 In so many ways that bittersweet time will remain for me a time of healing\u00a0and family more than sorrow and parting.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I would like to share with you a little bit of who my father was.\u00a0 He is\u00a0one reason that I walk hand in hand with the Lord.\u00a0 His faith and spiritual leadership taught me much.<a rel=\"attachment wp-att-161\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/barb-kuecken\/2011\/06\/14\/jesus-will-meet-you-there\/daddy-2011\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-161\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/barb-kuecken\/files\/2011\/06\/Daddy-2011-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Daddy 2011\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Daddy would put us to bed at night, reading Bible stories from both the Old and New Testament.
