Believe it or not, I’m already at the halfway point of my 8-month home assignment in the US. These first 4 months have just zoomed by, and I expect the remaining 4 months will as well. I’m so thankful for the many opportunities I’ve already had to share about the ministry in Asia Pacific and the wonderful ways I’ve been able to connect with people. I am blessed to have so many who pray faithfully and give sacrificially to help fund this ministry.
I’ve been traveling quite a bit so I can spend time with people. So, I guess in some ways “home assignment” is a lot like my ministry back in Asia Pacific. It’s nice to be settled again, though, and I’m thankful to have a home in southern California for the remainder of my time here. I’m staying in Torrance (South Bay area of Los Angeles) and will be making several trips to San Diego in the coming months.
I’m blessed to have two great home churches in California. This is where I was rooted and grounded in God’s Word and given a heart for missions. What a privilege to spend time in these churches and to know that they are behind me in the ministry God has called me to. Please pray that I will be a blessing and encouragement and make good connections during my time here.
