The end of the school year is approaching and for many of our families that means it’s time for annual testing. For me it means administering standardized tests to various students in various locations. This week is the second week of my annual “testing season.”
In the next few months I will have several more weeks of testing in various locations. In fact, my desk currently has several stacks of tests and resources needed for the various testing sessions. So far I have 31 students signed up for testing. With the different locations as well as different ages, that will mean 7 different groups of students.
I also score the tests, write up reports, and meet with parents to discuss their child’s progress. While I’m in town for testing, I also take time to meet with families to discuss whatever questions or concerns they have about their children’s education.
Traveling around to do this testing is one way I can support these families as they are serving in their ministries of church planting and Bible translation. Thanks for your prayers and support that make it possible for me to serve in this way.
