We are still needing your all important prayer support. First just want to tell you that your prayers for the need of getting the tribal flight dates into the jungle chosen and settled were answered as a Yes. The flights are scheduled for August 21-24! Thanks for praying!!! Once that was settled I was able to search and then buy my international tickets too. I will leave Milwaukee for Manaus, Brazil on August 14th. I will be going as the church planting consultant for two tribal church planting teams. I will coach, guide and help each team think about all they are doing in light of the Big goal Jesus has of having churches that can lead, support themselves and send their own to other people groups to do the same. This is where we ask you to pray regularly that I will become a blessing to those teams; that I will not give advice or guidance in the flesh but that I lean hard into Christ for all I say and that the advice would be Christ’s own to them. Would you please pray? I will fly to a small interior town commercially and will work with the Church planting missionary team to the Ash people there in the small town for 2-3 days. Then after that I will be flown into the jungle to where the Marubo CP team is in a small 5 seat missionary flown plane. I will be there 6 days. Pray for safe flights and rain free days. Then another special prayer point is for safety and strength as I will have 3 days to walk and use a putt putt river motor to get back to the town. About 7 hours of walking jungle trails with a Marubo guide. There are many mossy logs to be walked over so pray I don’t fall and that the logs do not break! Once you have me prayed back into town, I fly back to Manaus and then the next day I catch a river boat to take me back home to Guananoland! That will be an exhausting 24-30 hour trip sitting in bus-like seats. Keep praying together with us for this trip and all the details that need to come together to make it happen. Thank you again that we can count on your prayers. It does make a difference!
