       Orlando, a leader in training and Bible teacher, and his wife Mariela have taken a stand that is very counter cultural. They have withstood the bold and shameless life style of Gustavo to his face trying to win him back to fellowship with Christ. Normal Guanano behavior would be to NOT confront so you don’t upset the group nor get shamed. But he hung in there and stood tall, by Christ’s enabling, even though he did get shamed and he did feel the disapproval of the group.  As he spent a month together here with us we had many excellent talks about how he sees it as his ministry in Taina to be that of a  leader of the Bible teachers there and the body in general. He does not have a like minded believer to help him lead the group in the next steps, to resist sinful living etc. He is asking for all of our prayers<\/strong> that God would give him a godly believer to work with who would have the spiritual maturity to share the load of leading the church in Taina and to continue to face backslidden Gustavo. Would you take the time to do that right now <\/em>please? Thanks. It is comforting to think of maybe having a Guanano co-worker handling the church body there while we are here.
