Well, our 10th anniversary was more than a month ago – back on June 19th. Here are a few photos of our celebration of the 10 years of marriage that God has given us.
After dropping our boys off to spend the weekend with Grandpa and Grandma on the farm, we headed down to Pittsburgh. After checking into our very nice hotel on the river, we went to visit the Carnegie Museum of Natural History. They were nice enough to let us in for free since they were closing in 1 hour!
Then we headed to the Cheesecake Factory where our friends John and Nikki met us for dinner. After consuming way too many calories, we found an REI store nearby and shopped for few outdoorsy things that we will need in PNG. While there we had some fun trying on crazy hats.
The next day we enjoyed going to a Pittsburgh Pirates game – they even won! Although traffic was horrific because of construction, an art fair and a parade for the victorious Penguins, we enjoyed wandering around the Point and just being together doing something a little different (okay, quite a bit different) than our normal routine.
It’s fun to look back and remember all the time the Lord has given us together and how He has grown, stretched and blessed us. We’re looking forward to all that He has for us in the future!
