A Thank You from Caleb

September 19, 2015 by Bart and Emily Allen

A plane landing in Amdu is usually a big deal. Everyone comes out of the woodwork to see who or what is on the plane. When the plane is one of our NTM pilots bringing us a load of supplies, it is especially exciting for us. Usually we only have a flight every 2 or 3 months. In addition to bringing necessary groceries and supplies, we always look forward to what letters and packages might have come.

On our most recent flight, a special package came just for Caleb (and it’s not even his birthday)! Last year when we were on home assignment (furlough) in the US, one special thing that Caleb got to do was to attend a few days of preschool each week at the Christian school affiliated with our home church in PA. This is the same school where Emily attended from kindergarten through 12th grade!

Now that we are back in the tribe, Caleb’s preschool teacher and classmates decided to send him a package of goodies. It was exciting for Caleb to get his very own package! He had a lot of fun opening it. He has been enjoying the snacks and sharing them with his brothers, too. Since the kids won’t be in the same class, we decided to send the thank you via our blog so the kids can go there and see the thank you and picture.

So, here is a thank you from Caleb!

Thank you, Mrs. Tapper, Addyson, Ava, Ella, Elli, Leah, Lilli, Matthew, Trevor and Zachary, for your kindness and thoughtfulness to Caleb! Thank you for praying for us too!!
