Photos from Amdu

October 27, 2012 by Bart and Emily Allen

The next several blog posts will be pictures of our future home – the Amdu tribe.  It’s amazing to know that these are the people to whom we will be ministering in the years to come.  These mountains and trails will be our backyard.  And this airstrip will be our link with the outside world.  Hope you enjoy the photos and the glimpse into our new life in Amdu.

The airstrip in Amdu

Approaching Amdu
Surrounded by mountains
Our way in and out of the tribe
Plane arriving = everyone coming out to see what's going on

More photos coming soon!  Be sure to check back.

    Bart and Emily,
It is exciting to see how close you are to actually settling in a tribe. Happy Thanksgiving with your parents. Lawrence and Ann will be with us and my Mom. Jim continues to work in Haiti one week per month.
