<\/a>Bart grew up as a missionary kid in Bangladesh.\u00a0 Emily grew up as a farm girl in Pennsylvania.\u00a0 Luke was born in Ohio, Titus in Michigan, Caleb in Pennsylvania and Micah in Australia.\u00a0 Together as a family we are excited about serving the Lord here in <\/span>Papua New Guinea!<\/strong><\/p>\n We both graduated from Cedarville University in Ohio.\u00a0 After getting married in 1999, Bart served as a youth pastor for several years.\u00a0 We knew we wanted to be involved in missions but didn’t know what steps to take.<\/p>\n The Lord led us to New Tribes Bible Institute in August of 2003.\u00a0 We just wanted to get some good Bible training, but the Lord had some additional plans!\u00a0 While at Bible school, we were made aware of the huge need<\/strong><\/span> for tribal missions.\u00a0 About 2,500 language groups around the world have no Scriptures in their language<\/span>!\u00a0 Not even one verse!\u00a0 They have no way of hearing the Truth of God’s Word unless someone goes and tells them.\u00a0 Throughout our two years of in-depth Bible study, we became more and more convinced that the Lord could use us to reach some of these people.\u00a0 We then completed an additional 2 \u00bd years of missions training with New Tribes and arrived in PNG in December 2009.\u00a0 In May 2013 we moved into the Amdu tribe.<\/p>\n We have been blessed with four wonderful boys.\u00a0 Luke was born in August 2002 and Titus in March 2005.\u00a0 Caleb joined our family in January 2011 and Micah was born in November 2012.\u00a0 It is so neat for us to watch all of them learn and grow.\u00a0 They love life in PNG!\u00a0 Please pray that they will clearly see Christ as we follow Him.<\/p>\n Special days for our family throughout the year:<\/p>\n Caleb’s birthday – January 11<\/strong> Bart grew up as a missionary kid in Bangladesh.\u00a0 Emily grew up as a farm girl in Pennsylvania.\u00a0 Luke was born in Ohio, Titus in Michigan, Caleb in Pennsylvania and Micah in Australia.\u00a0 Together as a family we are excited about serving the Lord here in Papua New Guinea!
