{"id":11,"date":"2007-06-03T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2007-06-03T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2007-06-03T22:25:53","modified_gmt":"2007-06-04T02:25:53","slug":"recipe-of-the-month-june","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/bart-allen\/2007\/06\/03\/recipe-of-the-month-june\/","title":{"rendered":"Recipe of the month &#8211; June"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--StartImportPhoto--><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/bart-allen\/files\/2007\/06\/2324_15347.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-104\" style=\"margin-right: 10px;margin-bottom: 5px\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/bart-allen\/files\/2007\/06\/2324_15347.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" \/><\/a><!--EndImportPhoto--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Many of you have asked me for this recipe, so here it is!&nbsp; Enjoy!&nbsp; <em>If you decide to try them, let us know.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"boldText-blue\">Bran Muffins<\/span>&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>1 C. bran<\/p>\n<p>1 C. plain yogurt<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 tsp. salt<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp. baking soda<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>1 egg<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 C. brown sugar<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 C. oil<\/p>\n<p>1 C. flour<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"redText\">Optional :&nbsp;Use 1\/2&nbsp;c. whole wheat flour and 1\/2 c. all purpose flour.&nbsp;&nbsp;These are also great with dried cranberries, blueberries or raisins mixed in.&nbsp; This is an easy recipe to double or triple if you&#8217;re making them for a big group.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>1) In one bowl, stir together the bran,&nbsp;yogurt, salt and baking soda.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>2)&nbsp;In another bowl, beat together the egg, brown sugar, oil and&nbsp;flour.&nbsp; (mixture will be thick)<\/p>\n<p>3) Combine the two mixtures.&nbsp; (Add the dried cranberries here if desired)&nbsp; Fill muffin cups 3\/4 full.&nbsp; Bake at 350 for 20 &#8211; 25 minutes.&nbsp; Makes 12-15 muffins.
