{"id":1331,"date":"2009-10-31T12:09:34","date_gmt":"2009-10-31T16:09:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/bart-allen\/?p=1331"},"modified":"2009-10-31T12:09:55","modified_gmt":"2009-10-31T16:09:55","slug":"interesting-partnership-development-stats","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/bart-allen\/2009\/10\/31\/interesting-partnership-development-stats\/","title":{"rendered":"Interesting Partnership Development Stats"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In December 2007 we finished our linguistic training with New Tribes.\u00a0\u00a0 That concluded 4 1\/2 years of study &#8211; 2 years of Bible school, 2 years of missions training and then the additional 1\/2 year of linguistics.<\/p>\n<p>So, in January 2008 we started Partnership Development (known elsewhere as deputation or support raising).\u00a0 That time is quickly coming to a close as we anticipate leaving for Papua New Guinea in early December.\u00a0 With only one church left to visit to share the ministry of tribal church planting, we thought you might be interested in some stats we&#8217;ve been keeping!\u00a0 Enjoy!\u00a0 Oh, and we&#8217;d love to<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/bart-allen\/contact\/\">hear <\/a><\/strong>which one is your favorite!\u00a0 <!--more--><\/p>\n<h5><strong>Current support level<\/strong> \u2013 95%<\/h5>\n<h5><em><strong># of churches in which we have spoken <\/strong>\u2013 45<\/em><\/h5>\n<h5><strong># of ministry miles we have driven \u2013 17,423<\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5><em><strong># of hours we\u2019ve spent formally presenting our ministry \u2013 66 \u00bd<\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\n<h5><strong># of supporting churches &#8211; 13<\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5><em><strong>$\u2019s paid in tolls &#8211; $93<\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\n<h5><strong># of beds we\u2019ve slept in \u2013 53<\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5><em><strong># of people who have signed up to receive our email updates \u2013 626<\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\n<h5><strong># of hands we\u2019ve shaken &#8211; ???<\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5><strong><em># of times we\u2019ve listened to the 7 Chronicles of Narnia books on CD in the car \u2013 4 and working on our 5<sup>th<\/sup> time through<\/em><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5><strong># of times we\u2019ve eaten fast food \u2013 way too many!<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>God has given us so many wonderful opportunities during this time of raising support.\u00a0 We have met and fellowshipped with believers from many great churches.\u00a0 We have seen the Lord answer prayer in too many ways to count.\u00a0 We have grown closer as a family as well as in our trust in the Lord.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks for your part with us in this journey.\u00a0 May God be glorified and praised as we continue to serve Him.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In December 2007 we finished our linguistic training with New Tribes.\u00a0\u00a0 That concluded 4 1\/2 years of study &#8211; 2 years of Bible school, 2 years of missions training and then the additional 1\/2 year of linguistics.
