{"id":1785,"date":"2011-05-27T21:42:56","date_gmt":"2011-05-27T11:42:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/bart-allen\/?p=1785"},"modified":"2011-05-27T21:54:27","modified_gmt":"2011-05-27T11:54:27","slug":"settling-in-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/bart-allen\/2011\/05\/27\/settling-in-again\/","title":{"rendered":"Settling In Again"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve been back in PNG for just over a week now!!\u00a0 And we&#8217;re still working on the unpacking and reorganizing.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve found that <strong>unpacking<\/strong> with a 4 month old baby is not that much different than <strong>packing up<\/strong> with a 3 month old &#8211; everything just takes longer.\u00a0 But that&#8217;s okay!<\/p>\n<p>Everyone is adjusting well to being back here.\u00a0 Luke and Titus are happy   to be able to ride their bikes again, play in and build new forts, play with  their Legos and be warm again! buying our veggies from the market, stores not having things we want (like mayo, mustard, oatmeal, baking soda&#8230;) and driving on the other side of the road again.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">But there have been some new things too.\u00a0 Several evenings have been cooler than we ever remember it being here.\u00a0 And the ants and little geckos that frequented our house before have not reappeared <strong>yet<\/strong>.\u00a0 We&#8217;ve tried some new fruits too, such as the one\u00a0 pictured below.\u00a0 It looks like a hand grenade but the inside is a fleshy white fruit that surprisingly tastes kind of like yogurt!!<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1801\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1801\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/bart-allen\/files\/2011\/05\/P5270003.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1801  \" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/bart-allen\/files\/2011\/05\/P5270003-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Soursop - sounds appetizing, huh?\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/bart-allen\/files\/2011\/05\/P5270003-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/bart-allen\/files\/2011\/05\/P5270003-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1801\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">It tastes better than it looks!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Thanks for praying for us during this readjustment time!\u00a0 We know this is where the Lord wants us and it&#8217;s good to be back here in PNG!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve been back in PNG for just over a week now!!\u00a0 And we&#8217;re still working on the unpacking and reorganizing.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve found that unpacking with a 4 month old baby is not that much different than packing up with a 3 month old &#8211;
