We are excited and thankful to be home for this period of time before we leave for Papua New Guinea.

Bart has been keeping busy cleaning the church/school building of our home church. After going to classes together for the past 4 1/2 years and being together as a family for just about every meal, this schedule is a little different. But we’re figuring things out and getting adjusted to our new life.

The boys are just getting over another bout of sickness. They love being on the farm but, with the extremely cold temperatures lately, their time outside has been limited. Titus is becoming more eloquent in his speaking. It is so fun to hear him express what he is thinking. Luke is becoming a better reader all the time. <img decoding="async" class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-104" style="float:left; He also recently started playing checkers – just tonight he played at least 6 games with some friends who came over. He still can’t beat Dad or Grandpa but he’s getting better!

The Lord has given us several opportunities already to speak about tribal church planting in some area churches. We are also excited about being able to fellowship with people from our home church. For the past several years we have only been home during the summer, which of course is a busy time for everyone. Now that we are here for a somewhat indefinite time, we are looking forward to being more involved in people’s lives. Bart meets weekly with the Pastor and several other men in the church. Emily is involved in a ladies small group Bible study and the boys are having fun in Cubbies. We are also enjoying having people over as well as spending time in others’ homes. We are thankful for this time of renewing friendships.

We would appreciate if you would continue to pray for us as we contact more churches about coming to speak. We are asking the Lord to raise up 100% of our support in 2008 through churches and individuals that want to have a part in seeing one more tribe of people reached with the Gospel! Thanks for partnering with us through prayer!

{"0":"post-28","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","6":"entry
["GET
