{"id":11,"date":"2008-07-28T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2008-07-28T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/benjamin-hatton\/2008\/07\/28\/focus-your-vision\/"},"modified":"2009-09-15T14:52:57","modified_gmt":"2009-09-15T18:52:57","slug":"focus-your-vision","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/benjamin-hatton\/2008\/07\/28\/focus-your-vision\/","title":{"rendered":"Focus Your Vision"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--StartImportPhoto--><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/benjamin-hatton\/files\/2008\/07\/473_41440.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-104\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;margin-right: 10px\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/benjamin-hatton\/files\/2008\/07\/473_41440.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"108\" height=\"173\" \/><\/a><!--EndImportPhoto--><\/p>\n<p>There are 2,500 unreached ethnic groups in the world today.\u00a0 What makes them unreached?\u00a0 There is no gospel witness available to them.\u00a0 How is this possible?\u00a0 There are not enough people willing and equipped to take the Gospel message to them.\u00a0 This hard message is what we are choosing to focus on as our theme at NTBI this Fall.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The summer is quickly drawing to a close for those of us here at NTBI.\u00a0 In just two weeks we will begin our Student Training Prgram (STP) focused on preparing our student leaders for their various roles among their peers this semester.\u00a0 In many ways it feels like a crash course because of how much we cram into just a week.\u00a0 It is our opportunity to focus our hearts for service.\u00a0 After all, that is what bilical leadership is all about.<\/p>\n<p>As we focus our hearts on service, we will also focus on another area of great need.\u00a0 There are still 2,500 unreached ethnic groups in the world today.\u00a0 The Gospel has not reached these people groups and so they remain lost and separated from God.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Although our students primary focus here at NTBI is studying the Word, it is in the light of this great need that they are being trained.\u00a0 Our goal isn&#8217;t to crank out well adjusted, happy Christians.\u00a0 We want to expose these students to God&#8217;s worldview so they will realize His purpose for our lives.<\/p>\n<p>God&#8217;s rich provision in Christ Jesus equips the believer to live radically driven by the Father&#8217;s desire and only His desire.\u00a0 Men and women who have found freedom in the Lord Jesus have what it takes to embark on the journey to the dark corners of this world with the Gospel message.<\/p>\n<p>Filled by the Spirit and armed with the Word of God our students are able to focus their vision on the greatest need; reaching those who are yet unreached.<\/p>\n<p>Please pray for us!\u00a0 Pray that we would focus our vision on what is true.\u00a0 Pray that we would be effective ministers of the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ into the lives of our students this semester.\u00a0 Pray that we would all be focused and ready to serve as a result of our week of training and preparation.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for faithfully investing in our lives and ministry.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Benjamin and Missy Hatton<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are 2,500 unreached ethnic groups in the world today.
