{"id":9,"date":"2008-06-07T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2008-06-07T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/benjamin-hatton\/2008\/06\/07\/a-hatton-family-update\/"},"modified":"2009-09-15T14:53:06","modified_gmt":"2009-09-15T18:53:06","slug":"a-hatton-family-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/benjamin-hatton\/2008\/06\/07\/a-hatton-family-update\/","title":{"rendered":"A Hatton Family Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--StartImportPhoto--><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/benjamin-hatton\/files\/2008\/06\/473_38919.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-104\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;margin-right: 10px\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/benjamin-hatton\/files\/2008\/06\/473_38919.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"65\" height=\"78\" \/><\/a><!--EndImportPhoto--><\/p>\n<p>Another semester has come to a close and we are adjusting to our summer schedule.\u00a0 Goodbyes, family fun and hopefully some time in the sun will be our summer experience this year!<!--more-->\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We kicked off the Summer season with our graduation ceremony on May 17th.\u00a0 It&#8217;s always a bitter-sweet experience.\u00a0 During a student&#8217;s two years here they learn so much, grow phenomnally and become good friends.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><!--StartImportThumbnail--><a rel=\"thumbnail\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/benjamin-hatton\/files\/2008\/06\/473_38914.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-104\" style=\"margin-right: 5px;border: #bcc4c8 0.5pt solid\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/benjamin-hatton\/files\/2008\/06\/473_38914.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"54\" height=\"130\" \/><\/a><!--EndImportThumbnail-->Tami\u00a0Brooke in this picture with Missy is a good example of these friendships.\u00a0 We&#8217;ll miss\u00a0her and the many others we have grown close to.<\/p>\n<p>As the weather has improved we have been outdoors much more.\u00a0 Our kids are just eating up the freedom.\u00a0 We are logging as many hours and special events with their Granny and Grandad (James and Lisa) as they will be leaving the USA for Northern Ireland in just a few short weeks.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><!--StartImportThumbnail--><a rel=\"thumbnail\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/benjamin-hatton\/files\/2008\/06\/473_38898.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-104\" style=\"margin-right: 5px;border: #bcc4c8 0.5pt solid\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/benjamin-hatton\/files\/2008\/06\/473_38898.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"54\" height=\"130\" \/><\/a><!--EndImportThumbnail-->They are due to leave on June 30th and will begin a new ministry at the NTMUK missionary training center teaching in the Bible course there.\u00a0 Our kids have formed such a lovely bond with their Grandparents.\u00a0 There are no words to express how much they will be missed and how difficult it will be to say goodbye.\u00a0 Please pray for us as we work through this new chapter in our lives.<\/p>\n<p>Benjamin spends most of his time behind a desk during the semester and suffers the normal physical consequences.\u00a0 So this summer he has opted to spend some time working with the guys in the physical plant department.\u00a0 He&#8217;s been enjoying the manual labor which is a real change of pace for him.<\/p>\n<p>For the rest of the summer he will be working on planning for the leadership training program held in August.\u00a0 He will also be preparing student notes for the two classes he teaches among other preparations for the Fall.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile in many obscure corners of the earth the missionry endeavor of NTM continues.\u00a0 This has been a year that the fruit of years of investment has been realized.\u00a0 The NTM website documents all of these stories in their many articles.\u00a0 Just click on the NTM logo at the top of this page.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><!--StartImportThumbnail--><a rel=\"thumbnail\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/benjamin-hatton\/files\/2008\/06\/473_39362.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-104\" style=\"margin-right: 5px;border: #bcc4c8 0.5pt solid\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/benjamin-hatton\/files\/2008\/06\/473_39362.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"54\" height=\"125\" \/><\/a><!--EndImportThumbnail-->Abohapiya pictured here with his family are new believers and members of the fledgling Moi church in Papua, Indonesia.\u00a0 Your faithful suport allows our ministry and the ministry ot the Moi&#8217;s and many others to continue.\u00a0 Thank you for your generous\u00a0investment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Another semester has come to a close and we are adjusting to our summer schedule.
