I took one look at our site and couldn’t believe it has been a year since we have put anything on here. We’ve sent out our newsletters but this poor site of ours has been neglected. So instead of writing a full review of the past year lets just pick up from what we’re doing today!
We are currently stateside, for one more day! We brought Garrett home in June after he graduated from Numonohi Christian Academy in Papua New Guinea. It’s been a whirlwind of a month but it’s time to say our goodbyes and leave our son in God’s Hands…where God can grow him up and shape him into the man that He desires. Garrett will be attending New Tribes Mission Bible Institute in Waukesha, Wisconsin for the next two years. We ask that you please pray with us as there will be a lot of changes for Garrett in the next few weeks. We leave on Monday, he starts his new job on Tuesday and will be moving in with family until he heads to school in August.
Then there is our Jake! He turned 16 on July 11th. We stayed here for his birthday so that he could get his permit! He not only got his permit to drive a car but motorcycle as well. This picture is of Jake on his new bike he got to ship over to Papua New Guinea! He can’t wait for it to arrive.
We have had an amazing few weeks full of visits and shopping in the land of plenty 🙂 but it’s time to head home…we miss our home and ministries in Papua New Guinea. The Lord has blessed our time here in the states and has our hearts longing for home…Papua New Guinea! Our goodbyes will be hard as we leave Garrett but the Lord’s calling on our lives is to minister to His people on the other side of the world. Please pray as we say “see ya later” on Monday and our travels next week. Thanks so much for your prayers…we sure appreciate them.
