Childcare in training

March 6, 2012 by BJ and Jill Sanders

What do you do with your kids while you are going to classes?  Well that’s a great question!!  The training provides awesome childcare at a super low price!  I’m talking just enough to pay for the snacks that they eat!  We are so blessed to be able to really focus on all of our classes, without having to chase around our children.  Not to mention, the childcare workers are top of the line!  It’s almost like they found the best workers to work with our children, and they even raise support to be able to do this for us.  How blessed are we?!

There are four classes (Nursery, Minis, Toddlers, and Preschool) with about 10 kids in each classroom.  Isn’t it amazing how many kids we have here?!  People joke that there has to be something in the water!  Sophie just started attending the nursery.  She seems to really like it!  She pretty much sleeps the entire time, so she is not much trouble.  Olivia has been in the minis class, but today we moved her up to the toddlers.  This was a big day for both Olivia and mama!  We felt like Olivia needed to be around children that are more her age and older, to help her develop better social skills.  With having a baby sister, and hanging out with friends with babies, Olivia has been starting to think she is a baby again.  So we felt like this might help with that!  So, today was her first day and I think it went really well!  She made crafts, flew kites, took walks, sang songs, read stories, and learned about the color red!  We feel like this “graduation” will be a great thing for Olivia right now.
