Day 19 of 21: Done with language

August 11, 2014 by BJ and Jill Sanders

The day has finally come…we have passed our language tests!  And it feels so AWESOME!  Our missionary friends who gave us the test said, “They are proficient at everything we throw at them!”  We will never be “DONE” learning pidgin; we will always be learners.  But after 5 months of learning the national language and culture, we have the green light to move forward.  So the next step will be prayerfully deciding on a tribe, plans to allocate, and start learning the tribal language (verrrrry hard)!  If only it would take 5 months to learn the tribal language!

Celebrating! And being dorks!
Feeling good! BJ can now shave his mountain man beard! And just for the record…I was dressed first!

We are very excited to be moving forward in this crazy life that God has called us to!!

Just for fun, a message to you in the national language here in PNG:
