 Our friend, Doug Schaible, used to show us pictures of his tribal house on an island and say, “It’s a shame wehave to live here!” We feel the same way! Mountains everywhere and perfect weather…couldn’t ask for more. This picture of our houses is kind of cool because the perimeter almost seems “dark” and it’s like the sun is shining on our houses. We pray that the Lord allows us to bring light into this dark place.Housebuilding has begun and it’s all happening so fast! The men set in to put posts in the ground and ended up doing the floor joists too! The Lord is showing us favor, and using the tribal people to help! The guys have already built great relationships with tons of the guys!
If you look at the picture, our house in on the left, the Hambrices house is in the middle, and the Crabtrees is on the right. We are excited that they gave us land where all 3 of our families can live close and our kids can play in the middle! The guys are now taking a break from housebuilding to mill more wood.
