\"\"<\/a>For those of you who REALLY know me, you know that birthdays are a BIG thing to me!\u00a0 It doesn’t necessarily have to be my birthday.\u00a0 I just get excited for anyone’s birthday and planning a party or picking out something special for them.\u00a0 But of course, I do love my birthday and I usually count down the days.\u00a0 So BJ’s birthday comes 6 days before my birthday, and I planned a little outing to Shoguns and Dairy Queen.\u00a0 Olivia, Sophie, and cousin Willie loved the chef and how he entertained us, but didn’t like the big flames!\u00a0We had a such a blast (see picture)!<\/p>\n

So now…the countdown for my birthday!\u00a0 As the day gets closer, we talk about how I want to spend it, etc.\u00a0 Monday morning (my birthday) rolls around and let me tell you, it did not turn out in the slightest bit of how I wanted to spend it!\u00a0 I woke up with a stabbing pain in my hip that extended out to my back.\u00a0 It hurt so bad that I could not do anything…on my birthday!\u00a0 As the day progressed, so did the pain and contractions started.\u00a0 Oh great, I was going to have this baby on MY BIRTHDAY!\u00a0 For those of you who REALLY know me, I \"\"<\/a>don’t want to share my birthday with anyone, haha!\u00a0 We went to the doctor and found that I had contractions 8 minutes apart, but was just maybe the beginning of labor.\u00a0 So we went to BJ’s parents house to “enjoy” the rest of the big day.\u00a0 The pain got worse and worse and the contractions got stronger and stronger.\u00a0 The pain was so bad, that I was also throwing up and miserable (did I mention, it was my birthday?!)\u00a0 The pain lasted all week and I am just getting better.\u00a0 We spent Tuesday night in the hospital, hoping to deliver Graham, but the doc decided he wanted to wait a little.\u00a0 I was a little disappointed, but he gave me pain meds to ease the pain.\u00a0 Let me just say that it was the worst birthday, even week ever!\u00a0 I am sort of glad to say that I am still hanging on and only feeling…pregnant!\u00a0 I have another appointment tomorrow, and we will try and talk him into delivering, but I am sure he will stick with the due date of next Friday, the 22nd.\u00a0 Here’s a picture to leave you with, so you can sympathize at how miserable I must be!\u00a0 But very thankful that the back pain is gone.<\/p>\n
