Last week we made our first trip with the 5 of us up to the training center in Missouri. It was a good “test run” considering we will be driving to Alabama and Georgia next week!<\/p>\n

Our friends from church, Andrew and Taylor, are interested in missions, but not sure what that will look like for them… But we know of this awesome training program that they should do! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

So, last Wednesday, we all drove up to check out the training center (where we lived for the last year and a half). \u00a0We got to see friends, sit in on classes like phonetics and maturing church, hang out with missionaries like George and Harriet Walker, and lots more! \u00a0It was a great week, and I think we all enjoyed it!<\/p>\n

I remember 4 years ago when Jill and I were living in Norman, OK. \u00a0We were newlyweds, working in the 8-5 world, enjoying riding our bikes to work every day… but we were also praying about what the Lord wanted to do with our life. \u00a0New Tribes was already on the radar, but we just didn’t know much about it… Enter Jack and Lael<\/a>. \u00a0They invited us to come on a weekend trip to check out the training center. \u00a0That August, we were living in Waukesha, WI, beginning our Bible training. \u00a0And the rest is\u00a0history…<\/p>\n

Pray<\/strong> that God will send out more workers into the harvest field! (Matthew 9:35-38)<\/p>\n

I’m sure Andrew and Taylor wouldn’t mind if you pray\u00a0<\/strong>for them too–for them to do whatever the Lord has for them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
