Ants: You see 1 ant, you smash it with your finger.\u00a0 You see a few ants, you just ignore them.\u00a0 You see a ton of ants marching in a line, you spray them with All Purpose cleaning spray and wipe them up!<\/p>\n

Bananas: Almost every kind of banana that I buy is a \u201ccooking banana\u201d (grrr).\u00a0 You use it just like you would a potato.\u00a0 Now I know; you can ask them if it\u2019s a cooking banana or sweet and you might get a normal one\u2026MIGHT.<\/p>\n

Vinegar and bleach=BFF!\u00a0 (sorry Michelle!)\u00a0 Mold grows incredibly fast here.\u00a0 It\u2019s all over our shower and sinks, so bleach gets rid of it\u2026for a week!\u00a0 Vinegar really helps our laundry smell some what pleasant.<\/p>\n

Dirt: It\u2019s inevitable.\u00a0 Our kids are going to get dirty.\u00a0 Embrace it, and give them a bath at the end of the day! (see picture!)<\/p>\n

Clothes: Put up all clothes that you don\u2019t use (space saver bags!).\u00a0 If you have extra clothes or \u201cclothes you might wear if it gets rainy or cold\u201d, they will mold in a heartbeat.<\/p>\n

Toys: Our kids were already bored of their toys they brought.\u00a0 We put every toy in a different tub.\u00a0 Now they get excited when we say, \u201cDo you want to have pony time?!\u201d or \u201cBarbie time?!\u201d or \u201cblock time\u201d, etc.!\u00a0 Genius!<\/p>\n

Schedules: We realized we function better when our family\/team has a schedule.\u00a0 I know when BJ will be out, and he knows when I need him to watch the kids so that I can have a language session.\u00a0 ALSO, scheduling traditions.\u00a0 We have started \u201cTaco Tuesday\u201d, \u201cSweet and Sour Wednesday\u201d, \u201cPizza\/Movie night Friday\u201d, and Shmancake Saturday morning (pancakes!)\u201d Our kids get excited and it helps us plan our meals!<\/p>\n

\u201cAmamas\u201d: This is a thank you gift.\u00a0 PNG culture says if you are friends with someone, you share things.\u00a0 So after hanging out with someone a couple times, we must give them an amamas, and then they give us something.\u00a0 We give them cold water, peanuts, salt, lighters (to light firewood), etc.\u00a0 They give us food they make, bananas, tree nuts, sugar cane, etc.\u00a0 It\u2019s a never ending cycle!\u00a0 Without doing this, you won\u2019t ever really be friends with the people here.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
