\"\"<\/a>Today, we got our very first care package!!!\u00a0 Thanks Mom and Tony!\u00a0 It was an incredible feeling seeing that box with our names on it! \u00a0We eat just fine over here, but to get a care package full of goodies like beef jerky and fruit snacks just makes the heart happy!<\/p>\n

So now, have I made you want to send us stuff?!\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42 \u00a0We have had several people ask us for a list of stuff that we miss and how to send something.\u00a0 So if you are one of them, here is the information!\u00a0 And make sure you read the best way to mail items at the bottom!\u00a0 My parents found out the hard way, because we failed to tell them to use flat rate.<\/p>\n

Food:<\/p>\n

Fruit Squeezes (flavored applesauce pouches\u2026the kids love them!)
\nFruit snacks
\nFruit by the foot
\nDum dums (or any suckers)
\nAny kind of candy!
\nPeanut butter!!!\u00a0 (my all time favorite is Walmart Great Value, no stir creamy Natural)
\nBJ loves any gourmet coffee or Dunkin’ Donuts coffee!!
\nJill loves any green\/herbal tea!
\nAnnie\u2019s white Mac and Cheese
\nBeef jerky
\nCrushed red pepper (BJ\u2019s stock is low, and he eats it on pizza!)<\/p>\n

Toys:<\/p>\n

Stickers
\nColoring books
\nCrafts
\nKid\u2019s scissors
\nGlue sticks or bottle (for crafts)<\/p>\n

Others:
\nSunscreen (the quality is not that good here, and it\u2019s ridiculously expensive)
\nMagnetic Grocery lists
\nStationary
\nAcoustic Guitar Strings (BJ just bought a cheapo guitar, but they don\u2019t sell all of the strings!)
\nHand soaps
\nCandles
\nA Magazine
\nA picture of your family<\/p>\n

**Anything else that is practical or fun!<\/p>\n

Sending suggestions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Flat rate<\/strong>\u00a0from the post office is the way to go. Claim all things broadly<\/em> but don’t lie (example: if you bought skittles, just write “candy”). If you wrap items they will be less likely to be snatched\/confiscated. It takes about 4 weeks to get here. \u00a0Double wrap\/ziploc foods, candles, etc. PNG rats love chocolate\/peanut butter and will work hard to chew their way through!<\/p>\n
