{"id":701,"date":"2014-07-08T21:21:41","date_gmt":"2014-07-09T03:21:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/bj-sanders\/?p=701"},"modified":"2014-07-07T21:39:37","modified_gmt":"2014-07-08T03:39:37","slug":"day-2-of-21-food-supply","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/bj-sanders\/2014\/07\/08\/day-2-of-21-food-supply\/","title":{"rendered":"Day 2 of 21: Food supply"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well, remember my list of the whole month\u2019s supply for food?\u00a0 It got here\u2026most of it.\u00a0 The brownies, chocolate chips, and applesauce didn\u2019t make it, but I think we\u2019ll live.\u00a0 Actually, we didn\u2019t get all of our diapers either and pull ups, so we are trying to see how that is going to work!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/bj-sanders\/files\/2014\/07\/food.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-702\" title=\"food\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/bj-sanders\/files\/2014\/07\/food-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/bj-sanders\/files\/2014\/07\/food-300x224.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/bj-sanders\/files\/2014\/07\/food-1024x764.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/bj-sanders\/files\/2014\/07\/food-500x373.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t know if I mentioned earlier in my post, that when you order, you have to be specific.\u00a0 If you want a can of beans, you could end up with an industrial sized can of pinto beans, when you wanted a small can of black beans!\u00a0 So here are the funniest mix-ups that I got\u2026I ordered 4 bottles of apple juice (or you can substitute mango), and we got 4 bottles of sparkling mango juice. \u00a0I was confused, as I thought we had accidentally gotten wine!\u00a0 So now our kids will be drinking sparkling juice all month!\u00a0 They call it bubbly, and it makes them burp a lot!\u00a0 The funniest blunder to me is the Canadian ham.\u00a0 I ordered 3 ounces of Canadian ham (small packet, right?!)\u00a0 Our tribal supply buyer doesn&#8217;t know ounces, so I think it confused him (KGs?!) I got 3 HUGE tubes of Canadian ham (cost $45!) So we will be eating ham for every meal all month, haha!<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s easy to focus on the mess-ups for our order, but we are so grateful that we have supply buyers who are serving the Lord by serving us.\u00a0 We could not make it without them.\u00a0 We don\u2019t have time to garden here, and we don\u2019t have the time\/money to fly and order our supplies every time. \u00a0We really cannot make it without them.\u00a0 So we are very thankful for them and for all the food that we received this month\u2026and of course for all of our financial supporters, so we can buy food!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, remember my list of the whole month\u2019s supply for food?\u00a0 It got here\u2026most of it.\u00a0 The brownies, chocolate chips, and applesauce didn\u2019t make it, but I think we\u2019ll live.\u00a0 Actually, we didn\u2019t get all of our diapers either and pull ups, so we are trying to see how that is going to work!
