They have done the best job adjusting to this very different culture! They find friends wherever we go, and run around and laugh with them. Even though they speak two very different languages!

Just yesterday, we went down to the bottom of the airstrip to try to facetime family (didn’t really work). Of course we drew a kid crowd with our technology. Our kids started running around with them and they all worked together to build forts! The day before, everyone worked together to cut the grass on the airstrip (with grass knives…not mowers!). The kids found tall sticks, stuck them in the ground, and then gathered the cut grass to finish the fort. What fun! Of course, I say that our kids don’t understand them…but who knows?! They may know more than I think!

My main point is that people worried when they found out we were bringing our kids to a foreign land…but our kids really love it. It makes us so proud that they are adjusting to this life and having a blast with it. Thank you Lord for always giving us what we need!

<figure id="attachment_746"
