We wish each of you a very blessed Christmas as together we reflect on the wonderful Truth that God did indeed send His beloved Son to this earth, to be born as a babe in Bethlehem, to demonstrate by His life God’s message of love and grace and in God’s perfect time to go to the Cross to pay the penalty for the sin that separated us from Him. We are eternally grateful for the message of Peace and Hope that came to us that night in Bethlehem so long ago.
God has been faithful to us in supplying what we need to continue the work He has given us and we are thankful for all that was accomplished in 2014 relative to our ministry. Our five months in the Philippines earlier this year were very productive and we thank Him for the good health and strength He gives for each day. Besides the consultant checking of Numbers, Deuteronomy and Isaiah in the Kalanguya language, God gave Bob numerous opportunities to teach and encourage the tribal believers. And we ourselves are always so encouraged to see the faithfulness of the believers to follow God’s Word in all they do.
We are grateful for the Kalanguya and Ibaloi Tribal Translation Teams who continue their work on the Kalanguya and Ibaloi Old Testament translations. We are happy to report that the book of Psalms, the final book that needed to be translated in the Kalanguya language, has been finished in first draft!! There is still much to be done before it is all ready for printing but we are definitely seeing the light at the end of the tunnel in seeing the whole Bible in print for the Kalanguya!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT, YOUR PRAYERS, YOUR PART IN SEEING THIS WORK COMPLETED! THANK YOU for the extra Christmas gifts and the birthday and anniversary cards – they are so much appreciated! As the world around us continues to deteriorate and we see signs that the Lord’s Coming may not be that far away, let us all continue to be faithful to follow God’s Word, looking forward to that Second Coming even as we celebrate His First Coming as a Babe in a manger.
